Hi, put my car into local garage this week for new front pads and asked the guy to take a look at my handbrake shoes as they are sticking on now and again. He checked the shoes and said they were fine so cleaned them and adjusted them, but they are still sticking occasionally. He then said that maybe its the hand brake cable. Its not a big problem as when they do stick, as soon as I pull off they release. Anybody else had this problem or got any suggestions. The car is a 53 plate STi.

mines the same just remove the rear hubs every 6 mnths clean the dust out wrks for me

 

Yeah my classic is the same, got to reverse a tad before pulling off...

A TAD. Took 3 of us and a breaker bar to move the thing in my garage.

 

LOL, yeah it did. Nearly bust my nuts, it has been sat in the rain for a while though.
