Depends on what cover you require, as if your car has expensive modifications you will need like for like cover with an agreed valuation. Also if you plan on visiting the Nurburgring most insurance companies will not cover this along with various other trackdays. If you require either type of cover try Pace Ward as they cover both requirements.

I have used Keith Michael's for 3 years now and they have always given me the best quotes. I just ring up with a quote from A-plan and KM will match it so there is no point in changing to anyone else for me. £500 a year covering 14k and all mods declared and covered like for like.

I've just insured the STI with Pace Ward. He was £200 pounds cheaper than my last insurer.
£400 a year covering 4k and all modifications declared and covered like for like.

I'll have to try them come renewal time! My mate works for Bell Direct and he said that renewals are sent out with the view of the proposer ringing up to say they have got a cheaper quote etc and then they've got 15% ish to play with! Always haggle! Us Brits are too proud to haggle most of the time!! My old STi was £600 with all mods declared and like for like mods replacement! I'm still with A Plan with my Type R but will try Pace Ward at renewal
