Default How can we??

How can we get all the millions of impreza driving around South Wales aware of SWS.

There are millions around by me but none are on here. Could we make some illegal banners to hang off random bridges??

right i think this works well as my mate had it done to him with his ford in our car park, having business cards made up as you can get the first 200 free etc.. share them out at a meet to everyone to keep in their car/ wallet then when your out and about say shopping in bridgend/swansea/ cardiff or anywhere and see a scooby parked up leave one on the car under their windscreen wiper which the card will have info on the meets and info on sws ect... but it would mean that the meets would have to be around the same time every month as not everyone will want to come on here to check when a meet is

the one left on my mates ford had the name of the club and what they are about and where they meet and when every month

thought it was a good idea

I think putting cards on other subaru drivers cars comes across as desperate..
The club has been going for many years through word and mouth and has been very successful...

Just my thought...
Then again i dont own a subaru anymore so who cares what i think

Lee,

Did this before in the days of SouthWalesSubaru, about 6 years ago. Just popped a business card under the wiper with the meet details and web address.

The meets are going to be the 2nd Wednesday of the month anyway, but with a weblink this won't be too much of an issue

Stickers, flyers, and more local meets.

I can`t do Sundays or Wednesdays, and from other clubs I`ve been on, local stuff helps raise the attention, and then that spills over to national things.

I had two waves from other drives just today.

How about a meet in Bridgend, do they ever happen?

I have a friend who'd design a flyer/card for free

I wave at Scoobs in my work van it's bright green, can't miss me

IMO word of mouth works better than flyers, cards etc

Your spot on there Mark I think.
You will possibly end up with a carpark full of engine revving numpties that will help kill the meets at the venue. I feel an enthusiast will sniff other enthusiasts out in time and over the years we have had a large amount of people come to the meets and drift threw they are not for everyones taste but quite a lot have been around long term. You need to ask what sort of meet do you want and if you get all and sundry turning up it could end up like Blackwood on a Thursday on a worse extreme.

i understand where your coming from Si, but think the card idea would just attract the Subaru driver if just left on their windows as not everyone has computers or bother using them as i know a few scooby drivers and they don't bother with computers at all,

i know that word of mouth can also attract the same people your on about too lol

i can see what Dylan is trying to do with starting this thread as we all see lots of Subaru drivers everyday and wonder do they know about the meets/ events that we all attend, the more people attend/new people and everyone has new cars to look at and talk about, it's also great for the new people that attend to learn about their car and so on.

BTW hows things Si ? not spoke or seen you about for awhile, been working on the scoob ???
