Has anybody had a problem with their launch control ?
Mine used to kick in at 4600rpm but it will no longer let me rev past 4rpm when launch control is engaged.

Any idea's what could be wrong ?

APi fitted the Simtek and i have tried to get in touch with David and left 5 messages for him to contact me but have had no response at all

 

if you have launch control engaged it shouldnt rev past your launch rpm limit?

 

No messages received here by my staff for my attention in the last week that have gone answered. Some I have called cellphones and left messages, that have not responded yet. that is not unusual.

I cannot think what may be adrift [ if at all ] there. The map cannot change itself.

I have put a call in to Simtek technical support to see if they have any ideas.

I called and spoke to Barbara twice and also a gentleman whose name i didnt get, he did say you were with a customer on Thursday afternoon

 

Mine is set to 4k rpm but have seen it jump up to 4500-4700 at time, not sure why either! As David says the map can't alter itself but mine has done the same in reverse

 

Fair enough, slapped wrists all around on Monday morning they didn't get passed on to me.
