This year we join force with our sister publications to bring you Cars @ the Course. A fabulous open-air venue with Windsor Castle and the River Thames on its doorstep. As well as our usual best of show awards, sponsored by Meguiar’s, this year’s event also has the added attraction of incorporating 2010’s second Grand National Autojumble, in association with Porscheshop and 911&Porsche World.

Admission £7 per person / Under 16s free
Gates open 10.00 am


Right,thought I'd start a titled thread for this, went to this a few years back and Calvin has suggested a run up again so who's interested?
Its a very relaxed event and pay entry on the day.

I may meet you up there as it's the day after the Richard Burns day in Prodrive. May find a cheap hotel overnight

 

Sorry to jump in, just an idea:

If you are all planning to come from Wales etc, why dont we see if wee can get a HUGE following picking up other scoobs on the way?

If you are heading down the M4 for example, pick up at the bridge, then Bristol, Swindon, Reading/Newbury, and so on?

Me and the missus are definately up for going (as long as we can get the out-laws can babysit) and I think there may be a few more from wiltshire etc.

What region do you post in?
I can put a post in a few areas and see what develops.

 

Not really post in a region, but I reckon if we whack it in the general section and the areas between wales and windsor, we should be onto a winner.

 

Im new but im up for going to this and premier inn has rooms for cheap and in reading and there a few bnbs about that are cheap

 

Tell you what I'll put something in the events section and see how it run's, I'll get it done over the weekend.

Thanks for the heads up with the rooms, so far only one of us might need one as he's on route from another event
The rest of us will just have a little trip up the M4.

 

Your right there Glenn. may leave an hours drive to get there sunday morn and meet you on the way in. Bound to be a cheap b&b around there with the racecourse

Just to clarify this is NOT an SIDC event and is open to members / non members alike.

 

Come on guys,must be more interest for this. I've found a hotel if people want to saty somewhere after going to Prodrive,only £37 per room

 

Gates open at 10 so our little convoy will leave Magor services at 8am sharp.

Calv, we will catch you there as your staying over.

As I got home, the fuel light just came on, after 280 miles round trip, not bad going I think!
