Hi all looking for a new car around the 25th of this month. Im after a p1 or maybee a type r or even an sti 7 or 8, any buying advise also welcome off people who have owned any of these. Ive had 5 imprezas in the past and still got my wrx so know the basics, but all knowledge taken on board.

 

Could also be tempted by a version 5 or 6 sti wagon anyone know any local, have seen a few on autotrader, ebay etc but none local.

Gaz, apparently the P1 isn't a good example! The heater matrix has been bodged and it's not very good condition! Shame really

 

And the p1 in howe motors is about 2 grand overpriced lol the sti is a prodrive uk car with 350 bhp full miltek stainless exhaust eco tek remap all done by powerstation with printouts 45k miles

 

They know their stuff, do Howe Motors "A piece of Japanese iconic motoring".

 

At 59k it's due/about to get/likely to need an engine rebuild.

There is a P1 just come up for sale down by me in Swansea,had it's re-build and run faultless for over a year since. Running around the 350bhp mark. Not sure on price yet.

 

funnily enough I was about to suggest that very same P1 in swansea as it's about 20 seconds drive up the road from me too (no I'm not a stalker WRX287 I just recognised your car lol).

The other half & I went to have a quick look the other day, it's up for £7,995. I'm afraid I had to feign dis-interest in it because if Andrew says he's buying it I'll f**king kill him. So unfortunately I can't say much about it, other than here's a link to it

Just realised Im going to have to change my avatar and signature under my posts as well lol blue is the new white now. I always wanted a P1 I remember sitting in one in CVC in 2001 when waiting for my car back after a service and thinking how much I wanted to win the lottery, happy now :-)

lol each to their own i drove both and made my choice imho newage sti to soft, if i had to use it every day probably would have gone for it, modded p1 awesome simples lol. Its a second car so im happy :-)
