What would you guys say is the phase 1 stage of tuning and get you to 340bhp'ish ?

I know remapping is the last in the process but looking for parts list.

Would this get you them figures ?

I would think that a VF34 or 35 should allow you to see those figures, your standard injectors (assuming a newage STi) should be ok or you can upgrade to 650cc for future mods, the STi TMIC would be fine and a Walbro 255lph pump.

A good quality exhaust as well with a decat or sports cat would allow your turbo to spool quicker, Prospeed in Cardiff have done both exhaust systems on both my Impreza's.

 

A nice RCM Induction kit would go well too - or a good quality panel filter if you keep the airbox

 

I have seen V5/6 STi with just a good panel filter, 3 inch exhaust, Uprated fuel pump and bigger top mount's running 340BHP after a remap.

 

I got a WRX so injectors would be a must i think, forgot about the filter too.

Sorry Ian but not yet, the modifications aren't being done until July but I will then have a vf34 and a set of injectors spare.

 

STi intercooler is good for 380 ish.
Full decat system
Go for a VF34/35 Turbo as there is little lag compared to a 20g!
550 injectors and Walbro!

With a remap it should see you close to 330

 

Beware at 340 BHP your pushing the limits on the gearbox and clutch of a standard WRX Newage.

 

Thats wot i dont want to happen, strange how its reversed compared to the evo because they go from a 6 speed to the stronger 5 speed yet reversed with the scoob.

 

if you have a ty54 box it will be fine @ that power , just once you start spending again you won't stop,
