Default Thieving Scum Bags

Have been eagerly waiting for a week for my wheels to come back from refurb

Got a call this morning from the refurbers
They have spent most of the last week making the rims look spotless, even made a special gold paint mixture up to give a real sparkle.....

On arrival at the workshop this morning they found the door ripped open, the place ransacked and my alloys, along with 2 or 3 other sets are gone !!!

Was due to get the car back tomorrow as well - but now i need wheels to fit over the brakes

Can anybody tell me where i can get a set of 18's to fit over the brakes ?
Ideally i dont want Rota's - would like an 8 x 18 inch rim

That sucks! Are the refurbers liable to replace them? Surely they have insurance for this kind of thing.

Bas***ds Where were they Tony? May be worth keeping an eye out if they are a special colour. Try and pm M444GY on here. He may be able to help. He works in a wheel/tyre specialist.

The wheels were with Steve in APS - he's absolutely gutted and i'm gutted for him but its not his fault - i know he's worked bloody hard on these wheels aswell as some absolute monkey had sprayed them before

Think they took a set of M3 and RS4's also

The wheels are insured and they will be replaced for new rims but its just the wait now

Steve is a nice guy and I feel really sorry for him and you of course.

I am going to be taking a set of wheels up to him shortly to overhaul, he cannot do enough for his customers and now some thieving scum has set him back.

Happened to pop into the garage today to see if the car was all back together - obviously minus the wheels - and i had a pleasant suprise.....
Dave(garage owner) has kindly lent me a set of rims he had
The whole suspension and camber still has to be set up so the wheels do look a little out

What you guys think of them ? I can't make my mind up, from some angles i like them and then from other angles i just dont know

I quite like them. Apart from the tyre soapI think you need more open wheels though to show off the Porsche stoppers

Nice wheels - less spokes - more costly the wheels, you'd be looking at 4 or 5 spokes then

Perfect, nice solid looking rims (Compomotive?). Also loving the ride height as the tyre/wheel combo fill the arches completely.

I like the look of the Porsche Brembos, the car is sitting nice and low plus the wheels fill the arches perfectly.

Nice of Dave Coe to loan you a set of wheels as well, I have always found Dave and his good lady helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

I've got a number for a guy that has managed to source them from a Rally Company
Are you interested in a set ?
There is a guy in the For Sale thread selling a set of these with tyres

Gutted for you, but glad you've managed to keep your ear to the ground and find them...

Think who ever should be watching their back's

On a high note, those wheels really suit the car. Ive seen them on a few impreza's on scoobynet especially on 2 doors.

I want a white set for my new car
