Question CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

Does anyone know if the ej20 and the ej25 have the same rear crank oil seal?

Thanks in advance

Are you building up pressure in the rocker cover, which is causing the seals to blow? It's strange that the rears have now gone. Are your breathers clear?

Hope you get it sorted.

I think it was when the car overheated the other day,oil temp went up over 130 degrees so i think when it froze over night the seal has shrunk.(just a theory)
But then again the car is 13 years old and got over 151000 miles on it.

Time to get rid i think

I had to have my rear crank oil seal replaced but got lucky as it was minor and got it done same time as my longer 5th gear. Two jobs in one.

Just the joys of motoring .

Stick at it Calv
