Anyone going up to this? Seems a good line up including 3 S12 Impreza WRC cars Epynt Motor Club: Mewla Rally News

 

Does look like a good line up. I may well be popping up to this one. Do you know your way around Epynt Calvin? I normally spectate down the steps and along the "leaps" towards llandeilo'r fan triangle. Doesn't look like they are using the "leap's" for this event due to the sad circumstances surrounding the last rally.

I'd like to spectate around the German Village, have you spectated there and is it worth it?

 

Ive got an OS map of the ranges and know roughly where im going. The section past the village is high speed but not that exciting. Going to study the maps tonight and see whats what. If not i'll pop down and see my mate tomoorow and get all the stage starts and finishing points off him. Hopefully his Focus STI will hold together this time

 

Focus STI?

 

Impreza Hatchback STi perhaps but I call them Kia STi's myself.

 

2002 Focus shell with 2004 STI group N running gear. There was a write up about it in Motorsport News a couple of weeks back

 

I had to look twice when this came past, you hear the impreza burble from a distance off then all of a sudden you see a focus.

It doesn't half go well though.

 

Oh yeah, I should be there as long as I can fit my new rear diff fitted on Saturday.

Mapped yesterday by Steve Simpson and road Dyno figures were 334bhp and 495lbs/ft torque with a 32mm restrictor in Without the restrictor would be good for 650bhp He is thinking of taking the restrictor out and putting a sequential box in for Rallycross.

 

Usually make our own way up and bump in to various people throuhghout the day. First stage starts at 8.50am
