Cool Had My Car Detailed

Picked my car up earlier from Eclise Auto Valeting and I must say that I am very pleased with the results Peter has done a cracking job and I must say it was worth every penny.

He got rid of the dreaded thermoplastic road paint and tar spots, de-swirled the entire paintwork, cleaned the engine bay, the inner wheel arches, interior, glasswork and in my opinion the car looks better than new.

Unfortunately I cannot post up any photographs myself until tomorrow evening as when we were taking off the o/s/r wheel Peter pointed out that the Powerflex drop link top bush was missing and the rear anti roll bar was in effect not secured at the top.

So after picking up the car I took it over to David Coe who took the car in at short notice to get that sorted plus I am getting the front brake pads changed to Ferodo DS2500 which should stop that annoying brake squeal that you have all heard from my car.

In closing I cannot recommend Eclipse highly enough and if anyone wants a car detailed he would be my first call without hesitation.

Dylan I am now avoiding rain (just like a black hawkeye owner who shall remain nameless ), any sign of a freshly laid road or paint and my next step after that is too take a shotgun to all the pesky seagulls, blackbirds and other flying rats that seem to take great pleasure in depositing their load on my car. ( and I will go around and sort out a few neighbours as well who seem to feed them 4 times a day ).

The paintwork is better than new and I am only sorry that there is no show and shine at the Carmarthen Modified Car Show as with Peter's help I might just have cheated my way to a prize.

And the alloys are definitely gunmetal.

TBH Calvin I don't think the car needs any more polishing other than a quick hand wash to take off the road grime, perhaps I might just enter.

After all it was all my 'own' hard work.
