Howdy, I've also posted these in my scooby update thread but thought I would put a thread up to see what you guys think.

Did a mad thing of buying a brand new set of alloys and because they only came in silver in the correct size for a classic I had them painted, here's the results.

I do like that darker colour very much - great choices all round

They look fantastic...a good finish by the looks of it. I think you may struggle for traction as they are though. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Those brakes came up well too!

Cheers guys, I had them done with Steve from APS, i think thats it lol

He used to be in a small place behind GLC Jap imports in gorseinon, very good job tbh inside and out has been painted.

what sort of fool buys a set of new alloys and has them painted straight away . very nice mate looks like he done a top job , that combo goes very well as you know now get some tyres on the thing and drive it

Ah thats where he went. Was trying to find him the other day.

cheers for the comments guys but im leaving the paint on them to harden i've got the will power somewhere.

As for APS, very friendly guy and the alloy wheels have turned out better than they came to me from the factory. Inside and out has been paint and when I put tyres on you won't be able to tell.

Really really pleased with the finish.

Yea mate 18x7.5 offset of 48 so with a bit of luck no rubbing with these.
