Guys, who locally is a clued up lecky ?

Does anyone know how to to fit a small speaker or something to a detalarm ( Knocklink ) so when DET has been detected by the sensor it'll make a bleep sound or something alike ?

I only wonder if this is possible as I can then drive the car without monitoring the lights constantly.

Cheers in Advance

LED's take a very low power so i would guess there wouldnt b enough power from the knocklink to drive a buzzer or speaker.
U could possibly use the led ouput to switch a small relay to power a buzzer.

Something like this:
Kingstate | Process Control | Sounders and Beacons | Electronic Sounders | Piezo-electric - Flying Lead (AI)

Try something like this in parallel with the LED if it the knocklink doesn't produce enough power to drive then try it with a relay.

Electronic Piezo Buzzer - Built-in Drive Circuit 3-12V on eBay, also, Components, Accessories, Consumer Electronics (end time 25-May-09 13:29:13 BST)

Nice one guy's

I've fitted the Roojai Detalarm kit, which at the moment 6 LED's are fitted into the speedo display surround and trying to keep my eye's on that and the road is a task an half, so hopefully this'll warn me when it hits the amber lights just before the bright light ( DET ) occurs.

Something else I was just thinking about , what are the chances of possibly wiring the last light into ECU so as soon as the last light comes on, it sends a signal to the ECU and sends the car into safe mode stopping any further damage occurring.
