As said does anyone have a non resonated centre section out there just to borrow for a few days to see what it sounds like with a different back box fitted to a new age wrx, not mine by the way It's for a mate Clark (patrolman) he has changed his back box but still does not have the volume he would like so rather than changing the box again he want's to try a centre in there to see what differance that makes. Clark said he will collect it so no worries there.

Just buy one and put it on, got a full decat with non resonated centre and ninja back box on a classic and the noise is great, especially when I give it beans.

 

I went the same way with my old MY02 Sti UK PPP - ditched the Prodrive BB, installed an Afterburner Vortex, then ditched the resonator section - then the mid Cat section, I was happy with the noise and stopped at that - kept the 1st cat in - ran with no worries ....................

 

Putting a resonated center onto mine from a straight through center made quite a difference to the noise.
I still have the straight through pipe, i dont want to sell it but if you want to borrow it, welcome to pm me.

 

Thanks I'll pass that on Nolan.... Clark is calling in a breakers today that may have a second hand one floating about so I'll see what he say's later.
