The usual.
The car should be cold.
Service history.
It's outside the owners house.
The V5 details match the car and hopefully the address.
Does the car currently have insurance.
Would they be happy for you to do an HPI check.
No odd keys.
Seat edges for wear and slack in the steering column.
No smoke on start up.
No sludge inside the oil cap.
No oil or sludge in the coolant.
The brake and clutch fluid are not cloudy.
Coolants is not rusty orange.
All electric work.
Uneve tyre wear.
It brakes in a straight line.
See if it stalls when you try and pull off in 3,4 or 5th gear. If it does not you may have a fooked clutch.
Be suspicious of a new steering wheel.
The VIN plate is secured properly and matches the Vin number on the bulk head or Front Right Suspension strut.
If the engine number is the same as the V5.
Check the tax disc is for the car.
Just a few to go on with.
