Went for a spin around the brecon area yesterday and called up dixies corner but the red flags were up. Does anyone know if the MOD leave the flags up to deter people going up there or are they really using the range?

Being on the inside, I would avoid the roads with the red flags on. 5.56, 7.62 or 0.5 is not very good for a Scoob. On a good day 105mm will also spill your tea. The war against Terrorism is not put off by a Scoob!

The main road through (via Church Hill) is very rarely closed. But, Tirabad and Cileni Village do get closed.

I though I made the right choice!! I joked with my mate to see if I could out run an apache!
I have no idea of the road names up there I just know I drove past military equipment refurbishment place. I'll be up for the New Year dash, I need to get out to more meets.
