hey people can any body help me.
im considering bhying a chip off ebay for 100 bucks
and just wonderd if the d.i.y kit would actually work. its claimed gains of up to 40 bhp on an early wrx and i just ent to sure. they say that there is no damage that can be caused by this aswell. true or false cheers people

Hi mate,
When modding scoobs, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.
Post up a link to the site, but it smells a little like cow to me. The only way to mod a scoob properly is to get someone to carry out a manual re-map of the ECU. 40bhp from a classic WRX with just a chip just doesnt happen, sorry mate.
