hey guys! i live in abergele, not far from you top dog! i dont drive an impreza, but have a legacy turbo, is slightly modded filter/exhaust/chip etc.
is broken at the mo until i fit STi RA box and r/diff in two weeks, then ill be loose on the north wales roads causing havoc!

oh, and im in wrexham two/three days a week.

Never realised there were Scoobynetters in the area.
My car is no turbo - 1.6GL , but not bad for a 17y.o.! I'd appreciate a wave, will look out for you guys.

Black Night, you from Bangor? Me too! I'm away working at Telford all week, but also come back at weekends. Mine's a silver WRX v.1 on an L plate, my first Scooby, owned for 1week .
Didn't realise there are so many ppl on here from the area, definately need to meet up for a blast some-day.

A meet in March sounds good. I need to get some better calipers+discs though - i've been getting some interesting brake-fade during my 2nd week of Scooby ownership .

having doubts about a meet coz got hassled by the heddlu over the weekend. (unmarked ford, dark colour) got done for doing 85mph on *** near tal-y-bont. careful guys....

track day would be advisable.

(off topic) - By the way BK, i think i saw you (at last, if it was you)last Sunday at around 3pm 'ish. You were heading down towards Penrhyn Castle from the Ll'degai roundabout, i was heading for Telford. Although i only caught a glimpse it looks like a v Nice car.

Edit - Yes a track-day is a good idea, I wonder how many people we'd need to make a Ty-Croes day affordable? Failing that we could arrange a meet and blast around some of the less policed roads - the *** is, after all, where they seem to police the most. (i crept past an unmarked dark red Volvo estate on Sunday eve on the '55 after just spotting his white shirt/black shoulder patches through his rear-side window, he was on the radio too!)
Gotta get me a "Valentine" detector.

yep that's me! went for a drive to phwelli and the beach. good day for cruising around.

hope all the north wales scoobies could get something arranged, even for a quick drink. no harm meeting more scoobies and scheme and plot towards greater power.

March is as good as gone!
Don't think I'd go for a trackday really, seems a little pointless with 88bhp An airfield day would appeal more to me really, finding the limits of the car (cornering grip etc) without the risk of hitting anything! Any chance of something like that perhaps? I'd still come down to the trackday if it went ahead I expect, if only to watch.
TTT anyway, think we should sort something, should be a good day.
