Default Tein Coilovers

Had anybody got these fitted to the car ?
What sort of reviews have these had ? good or bad ?

From what i've read so far, it doesnt look good for these

What other coilover set ups do people have ? AST ? HKS ? Exe-tc ?

Dont want to go mad on what i pay as i have a few other things to purchase for the car

Ive got the Tein Super Streets fitted to my car, an MY93 wrx and find them great! Had them set up by Promax (Rally specialist) for fast road use. I've heard people complain about them squeeking on here, but never had any probs myself. I'd give them the big thumbs up!

I've got Super Street's on mine aswell with the EDFC fitted, i find them great Cris (WRX RCY) also has the same setup on his car, i tried his before buying mine, u could have a go in mine normally but its now off the road for the winter,

The spring rates are the same as what powestation recommend on the AST's for road use.
With the EDFC set on the softest setting i would say the ride is similar to STI suspension maybe a tiny bit firmer, but can be made harder then when you want .

Super Street as the name suggest are designed for street use, then the Flex setup is slightly firmer, then the other tein setups are aimed at track/competion use.

All depends on how hard you set the dampers Finch, theres a good range of adjustment on them. Mine are fairly hard at the mo, but i use the car everyday as shes my daily driver and its easy to live with. Well worth it.

What about the reliability factor of TEIN ?

I'm not too concerned about a hard drive, thats part of owning such a car

I've also contacted the God's from Powerstation to find out about a full AST set up on the car

No problems with mine either...touch wood
But they are pretty new. Any probs though and they are the fully rebuildable type, so should go on forever!

I've had mine for over year and a half now and I can't fault them . On soft setting they are comfortable hard and then for track days the hard setting are just right. There have been a few passengers and everyone has commented on how well the car is set up, most of them are on here
I can't judge the other suspension set up because I've never used them or been in a car with them on.
Tony, next dry day I'll give you a ring and I'll take you out for a spin

Just Fitted Super Street on MY99 RA. EDFC now next dry day.
Got it set on 8 for this weather, but feels awesome.
Fitted on my mates 2001 WRX first a couple of months ago, absolutely transformed the car for him. Might not have the BHP of an STI but it sure does handle well (with rubbish tyres too)
