I've always known that the Shell garage at Pentwyn was expensive, so as a rule I don't use it unless necessary. As I was on vapour tonight on the way home I didn't risk leaving it until I got to Newport so bit the bullet.
The words "**** ME" echoed across the forecourt as I spotted £1.09.9 a litre on the pumps.
Why the hell that petrol station is so busy when its so expensive is beyond me - I guess if you want V Power there is no other local alternative, but the price of diesel and unleaded is also so high, I cant see why anyone would use it regularly for non V Power fuel.
Is that the most expensive around ?

Isn't it!!!! I chucked a tenner in friday evening and frankly that was all I was willing to spare when it is so expensive. Back to Malpas next time.
I live within a mile of the Pentwyn pumps but go up to Malpas when i can out of principle. The added benefit is i get to open the engine up on the way to and from
