Default Air Con Pump

I don't suppose any one has recently removed the air con from there car and has a spare air con pump lying around? The bearing seems to have gone in my pump and is making a racket. I was gonna remove the air con but the car may be going up 4 sale soon so i wouild rather leave it on.

Thanks
James

My air com pump has given up the ghost. It sounds like a bearing and is making hell of a racket. Can i just remove the air con belt and continue driving the car untill i either decide to get a new pump or remove the air con system completely?

Thanks
James

Yeah not been a good year for my impreza. It turns out that after looking in daylight the belt driving the air con pump also turns the water pump so i wont be removing that . Looks like i will have to source a new pump.

The car was on the verge of going up 4 sale but i am kinda changing my mind. I cant imagine being back in a normal every day car.

Apparently the little pully below the air con pulley is just a tensioning pulley lol . I was being stupid and thinking it had something to do with the water pump as it is sat just behind it.
