Default Decat and MOT

Hi all, i purcahased my scobby a few months ago and it was fitted with a straight through Hayward & Scott system, ive have just had a nasty thought that it will not pass an mot without the cat??

Is there anyway to get around buying a new cat and pipe????

i/ve got a standard cat centre pipe if you want to borrow it for m o t its off a94 wrx also do/nt know how close you are to pick it up

Then you will definately need a cat to pass the mot. I think pre 95 you dont need a cat.

Yeah, you will have to swap the centre pipe for a catted one to pass an mot unless you know a friendly MOT inspector!!!!!

Thanks for all your help guys. MOT is not until early next year i was just wondering whether i needed to start saving for a new cat and pipe!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully i can borrrow one when the time comes!
