tommorow im going to be driving from rhyl to cardiff and im trying to sort out where/when i should be filling up at shell garages...

I go down the *** towards WREXHAM then down the A483 towards Oswestry (SHELL STOP 1)
Then i know the way but ot the road numbers, i go past llan wells and builth wells, past brecon sort of area lol and then past hirwen (3 big lakes there) and past merthyr t

anyone know where the shells are cos i dont remeber seeing many around after Oswestry

 

i go through newtown and welshpool too

 

I've got the TomTom POI file for Shell stations if it helps? Won't be on line for long though!!

I know your car is modded but I managed to go to Cardiff from Anglesey on abou £15 on top of the full tank I filled before setting off ,so you should be o.k for finding a garage somewhere
