Default What Brake Pads???

Hi All

I was wondering what are the best Brake pads to put on my Scoob when they need replacing?

I have brembo's and braided hoses but sometimes they dont feel up to the extra power i have had added. Is it different pads i need or perhaps Drilled or grooved discs instead??

Or is it the ABS

Cheers
JLD

Mintex or Paigid pads from what I've heard julian will change them altogether,
that's what Andy advised me for future referance.... may be worth you having a chat with him.

Have you also had uprated fluid?

Ferodo DS2500 pads are very good all round, are kind to discs and don't give off excessive amounts of dust either.

Ferrodo DS2500, Pagid Blue/Blacks, Mintex F series are all supposed to be excellent pads.
Lots of people on here use the Ferrodo pads (i've got some to go on mine) but Andy at ACE recommends the Pagid very highly, but doesn't rate grooved/drilled disc's, they just wear the pads down quicker.

I'm not a fan of drilled discs full stop. Just looking at what discs WRC cars, Super GT cars etc use should tell you that grooved are the way to go. Crescent grooved discs seem to be becoming more popular also now.
