Default Peugeot 205 Water Pump leak!!!!

My Pug 205 1.9 GTi water pump is leaking. I think it might be a cracked housing. Does anybody know much about these cars that would be able to help me fix it or replace it? It pisses out water faster than I can put it in so cant drive it anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated.

my mate has just bought a 1.6 205 GTI. Not sure about the internals and he is not here to ask but i do know that German, Swedish and French (GSF)parts sell parts extremely cheaply!! I was in there picking bits up yesterday and will be back there this lunchtime

You got to remove the timing belt to replace the w/ pump , you'll need peg for cam and crank unless timing belt got the white lines on then you can use the marks on the cam and crank pulleys or tipex ! tensioner is spring loaded and has a lock nut you slacken on the earlier ones and a 6 m/m head in the centre that if you turn i think anticlockwise a 1/4 turn will push the pully back and keep it back while replacing the belt / pump , think there is also a front lock bolt , long time since i've done one of these now !

Ewan I did the timing belt water pump and starter motor once on a 1.6 and I was under the car with a pit and it was a bitch of a job that I wish I never started. See if you can find a garage to do it for you if you have the cash. there must be some one that people can recommend.
