Many thanks chris for the hand fitting the coilovers and for the bacon sandwiches gem.
I have to say they are way to hard. it's very bumpy, handles really well but it's a to harsh ride, i can see why you swapped. great for on track but just too hard for the raod. I'll have a a shop around tomorrow to see if I can some softer springs

Couldn't find softer springs, I can see why you changed them now!! great for a track car but way to hard for the road. If they were like DAz's car I could of lived with that, but these are in another story.
I've purchased STI pink suspension today off a late model STI 6 ltd, which should be here tomorrow, Should have them on for the weekend!!!
If any body wants some very hard Cusco's coilovers for the track, drop me a PM
Blast and I said I wasn't going to spend any more on the car!!!!

Cheers Si, I had to replace mine as it was knocking, thought the coilovers would be hard but okay, how wrong was I!!!!!!
Bob Rawle told me a while ago that STi 5 or 6 with whiteline ARB, droplinks and anti lift kit is an awesome set up.
It's an expensive set to buy new, more than a set of coilovers!!! I think it's about £1350.

And there is you thinking you had a bargin.
Onwards and upwards for the go car. Unlucky Dan it was worth a try. Some one on the bay will have them.

Yes I am affraid we didn't cover the truth at all , they are as hard as nails.
If you do get hold of a set before the weekend Chris would offer to help out again but he is working every day this week so it won't be till next week.
And they were a bargin ( if someone does track days that is)

Cheers gem, you didn't sugar coat the truth!!! they are very hard. It's okay, after sunday's help and guidance I'll be able to change them myself. It's quite streight forward, Daz is bringing up some axle stands tonight.
The pinks should be here today, can't wait to get them on and give it try

Had a go of an M plate WRX with cussco's on and you are right they are damm hard even on the softest, don't think i could live with them with the roads round here.
Think i might go for for Tein Super Streets like WRX RCY when my shocks give up, i like the idea of the EDFC.

Well they are on and wow, they are fantastic. Thanks very much David at API, I've just taken her for a little spin, even in the rain, the cornering speeds are improved, they are stiffer and lower than the standard uk shocks and springs but still very comfortable and there is very little body roll.
Standard Uk shocks
The Very hard Cusco's, loved the look and they are lighter than the standard set up,
The cusco's are smaller than the STI's
And now the perfect set up for me
Worth every penny, even it's £520 out my bar fund

Have it set up:
.5mm toe in every wheel. Buy some camber adjusters if you haven't got them and set the cambers at .5 negative individually on all four wheels.
Hard [ alloy rear drop links ] from us and an anti lift kit then leave it alone.
That will be dead right and cost effective too.

I've already got your alloy droplinks. This made a difference having this on.
Already have whiteline ARB's and strut brace's front and back.
Just need the Anti lift kit and then I'll have it alligned
Thanks once again
