Question Powerstation T25 Spec Kit

OK back on the rollercoaster... So does anyone on here have the T25 Spec Kit fitted? And would i be best to

A. Get PS to fit it as they will do all the alignment anyways

B. Fit it myself and then go to PS for alignment

And does anyone think there is a better set up for normal (Quik'ish!) road use

Whadya think then guys

Cheers Paul

Ps, Oh yeah how much will this lower the car, I have always thought it looked a tad high on its wheels..

If you were going to get the T25 kit I'd get them to fit it as well. In case you haven't already seen it, there's a group buy on the go. I was tempted but it's a bit too much for me at the moment.

I would get PS to fit it IMO. The group running at the moment basically gets it fitted for free, so all you pay for is the T25 kit. From what I've read on here, and from what I've read in magazines that have driven a T25 on the raod there is no better setup. A few clicks each way will see it ride sublimely or harshly, depending on what mood your in

I was gonna have the T25 kit fitted regardless but as soon as I saw the GB running I put my name down straight away. Go on, treat yourself

Do it. I've got the RARB drop links Eibach springs and anti lift. Just go the whole hog fromt he start. It'll cost more in the long run and you'll never be happy. Every visit to PS or every time I see an AST logo I think.. I should have...

Have the full T25 kit [and more] fitted to my classsic, and I have to say it has totaly transformed the handling.

But saying that, there is a quality issue when it comes to the surface finish of the whiteline products, and also the struts [be it only minor, but still annoying never the less].

IMO, if you have not done so, you need to be looking at some form of brake upgrade, at least pads, ie...DS2500s or Mintex 1144s, [not shure if correct number], but Andy at Ace Motorsport would be able to comfirm this for you.

Thumbs up Thanks Guys

I had not seen the GB so thanks for that, top steer. BigBrakes, I have the (Upgraded?) replacement Godspeed discs and the ferodo pads fitted at the moment, i also upgraded to the braided hoses and i have to say it has made a fair bit of difference, that said i had the EBC Ceramics on before that and they killed my discs and were a bit wooden in feel, i actually prefered the standard Brembo discs pad set up to the EBC.

Right, off to put my name down for the group buy

Thats twice i have saved money on here in two days, I went into the insurance bit of Scoobynet and was advised to have a word with Greenlight and A plan, net result insurance down from £775 with Norwich Union Direct, with an excess of £1170! I had an excess of £450 last year, so a bit cheeky to up it this much... Always worth a read!!

A Plan quoted me £489 with all my mods declared (including 327 bhp) excess of £450, limited to 7,000 miles So bought it.. Jobs a gooden

I am now in the GB for T25 Kit

Thanks Paul

Evening Paul, don't think I could cope with the 7,000 limit but nice price. It willbe interesting to see what they say after your trip to powerstation. After fitting my Tein's I sent all the info from their website to my insurance thinking this might hurt. Shock Horror............................ they didn't add a penny to my premium. Enjoy getting used to the new setup m8, Egor

I had uprated brakes (Stoptech) and Buddy Club coilovers fitted to my old CTR. Informed insurance, they said due to them not being a modification to the engine my premium wouldn't increase.
