I've been in contact with Andy Forrest and this is the information he sent me.

"To remap an existing Power FC is £240+v
Ecutek custom remap for MY99- MY06 is £500+v
To supply, fit and map an Apexi PFC and Comm is £795+v

Travelling would be £200 for day 1 and £80 each subsequent day, I can map 2
cars per travelling day and 3 on a non travelling day ie the middle day of a
3 day trip

I have midweek dates available from the 6th of September." By Andy

So, if your interested post up what ECU you want mapped, and the best date that would suit you.
And please could you post as soon as possible, so we can get the dates booked to avoid disappointment as we know he gets booked up very quickly.

I'm up for that just gotta get my front mount and Walbro pump fitted should be done by september. Any date after that is cool with me. Posted to guage interest on this topic about a month or 2 ago, i'll PM u the names of the people that seemed interested. If u can go for a date towards the end of september that would be perfect Also when i enquired people said Cardiff was the preffered location for the mapping as its central to include everyone.

Count me in also, just so happens I'm off work on Monday 18th & 19th of September. Would prefer to have the car mapped on the 18th but if it not possible the 19th is okay. Existing Apexi to be mapped.

I would be up 4 this! I already have a apexi pfc but need it fitted aswel as having it mapped, Any idea what he charges for fitting....

98 uk car.

 

On the 95 JDM its under the passenger carpet. And you just unplug the original one and plug in the Apexi. Its an half hour to an hour job. Did yours come with instructions?

 

No but i have got some now off here..I thought a uk car wouldnt run with the apexi until it was mapped.

 

Not 100% but with the jdm its plug in and go

 

like i said i would be up for it and the dates are fine, would like to know what he charges to fit and map thats all..

 

Just outta interest, what are his credentials and does he do Ecutek remaps for evo's, in particular evo 9's with mivic.. i swear ive seen him running in TOTB

To modify the wiring to fit the ECU to a 97-00 UK car is £20. + £240 for mapping
Pre 97 and all imports are free fitting.

 

Waiting on a reply but I believe your right with regards to the TOTB.

 

Checked with Andy and he will be flying in to Cardiff.

how much to do a ecutek on a 2004 WR1, i only use optimax fuel

list of mods.
APS: SR440 turbo, top mount ic, 3.5 race exzorst-decat down pipe and headers, race fuel kit, 75mm cold air induction kit

Blitz: sbc i color boost controller (needs setting)

GFB: pullleys and stealth FX dump valve, short shift

Buddy club: earth kit and voltage stabiliser

FSE: uprated fuel pressure reg and fuel pump

pwer enterprise: oil filter and timing belt

Will he be able to do a '93 legacy turbo ?

 

6pm Tuesday 19/9/06 will be fine
He could do 4 cars on the Tuesday in that case at 9, 12, 3 and 6 and two on the Monday and Wednesday.
