getting one of those secs monitors or getting the car remapped by andy f ?
i've been thinking of this at great length the past few days and it is only possible to have 1 or the other at the mo what would you do 1st
it has had a remap just before crimbo
its not that i'm not happy with how it's going it's just that i've been told for a number of yrs that he's the daddy and he maps the cars the way they should be done to suit the driver and done in it's proper enviroment on the road
i think from what i seen when the car was mapped that the car as been set at it's minimum potential for saftey reasons which i could not stress enough to them when it was done so can't and want knock the guy's who done it
so what you think is best all

I'd be more inclined to go Bob Rawle for Ecutek and then pick up a cheap Secs

it's better when you in stealth mode ,more fun when they jaw drops at the lights
it's that the car needs to last me at least another 3yrs and be able to sell it at a respectable price and everything in tact and in good order

i wish i could but with 2 tyres mot and possible clutch in a couple of months and finishing off the house its impossible or should i say if i did then i would not be around to tell you if it was money well spent
i'd be on some ward in traction eating with a straw

 

Richie I would have a chat with Andy F first and tell him what you have had done and ask him what you could expect from a further remap.

 

Getting the car mapped is way more important than a SECS unit IMHO
