Sounds like a good idea. Can't think of a local pub though. Last time I parked outside the Corporation pub my stereo got nicked.

Walston Castle in Wenvoe is only 10 mins away, ample parking, child freindly etc..

Anyone else get an invite from CVC in cardiff for their "Evening with Subaru" on 21st november. ProDrive are going to be there along with the rally car and a preview of the 6 speed Sti.

If you are on CVC's books give them a call.

Whilst having a service there last week (major )I was asked to spread the word in the Welsh on-line SIDC community that all are invited.

But you need to ring 02920 222100 to get an written invite.

Apparently all invites have a unique number for a raffle with lots of goodies. They also hope to get a driver and some new Prodrive gear in addition to above.

Yep, I'll be there with the wife. Went to the bug eyed launch last year and had a good evening.

Any amusing suggestions as to how we bbs'ers should identify ourselves.

As the evening doesnt start til 7.30. How about we all meet first in pub somewhere. As for parking its really bad during the day but not so much in the evening.

How about getting to CVC early and finding somewhere local. No good worrying about parking as youll have to park there anyway.

For those who werent there last year there will probably be plenty of free booze flowing so just remember to be careful if your driving.

I was in CVC today and apparently the appearance of the UK STi is not confirmed! I told the salesman there would be some disappointed people if it didn't turn up!

The salesman also reckons the price will be above £26600 and below £31000 i.e above UK300 and below P1. My money is on £29000. Mind you the same salesman reckons he has sold 22 P1's! The one in the showroom is priced at £31450 and has standard brakes. There are people with too much money in Cardiff
