Kev, I don't mind admitting that when it comes to football i'm not really bothered either way, and don't mind too much watching England win either!! At least if you win it it saves me having to hear about 1966 for the rest of my life!!!

But, in rugby mate I would always support the opposition, no matter who they are!!!

What ever the sport I always support the home nation team we are all part of GB
Does that mean that if you have a runner in the GB team you want him to fall over and come last.

Nah mate. It's not a hate England thing, more a good rivalry. See football is different because we are complete crap, and for the most part, happily so!! But in things like rugby, we are fierce rivals so it's a bit more like you guys and Germany in the football........

 

Its all part of the fun, England lose and we laugh, they do the same to us.

Well said Kev, Can't understand the hate thing myself. We all share the same currancy, same monach, all pay taxes, have the same Armed forces, have a slighly watered down version of the govenment and we all have GB stamped on our Passports.

How come some people still hate the english?? is it over some petty war or invasion that happened god knows how many hundreds of years ago or are they just narrow minded

To be honest Dan, it comes partly from the sheer amount of self-deluding crap rammed down your neck about how good England are at this and that, whilst other countries (including Scotland) get sod all. It's not really anyone's fault, that's where the majority is so that's how it is, but it doesn't make for happy relations TBH. Also mate, not being funny but the queen can kiss my *** because I woud never swear alleigance to someone because of their birth alone. We don't hate you though, we just have a good rivalry!!

well the football
what can i say as you know i've not much of an interest in football but i know the difference in something that is played with skill class team play and the most important of all your country
i had the pleasure of watching England play in they last game and omg these guy's are saying that they going to bring home the cup
i don't know if these guys left they boots in the house or somthing but what a shocker
now i did catch about 20 mins of the brazil france match and bloody hell what a different game
there was so much skill ,flair ,team play in that 20mins than all of the 140 mins of all of the english matches i watched
you would never here the allblacks or wales or anybody else saying that they are going to beat everybody now would you they just do it on the pitch
and as far as rooo rroooo rrooo rooney is concerned he is possibly the best thing you had on the feild or any other team did but they played him for the fool he is doh
i think you need a few more brickies and plasterers in your side guys cos it works for most

 

its sad to see the boys come home,we didnt play the best football and we didnt deserve to win.as twig is to football i am to rugby i hate the sport i was made play in school,if i didnt i wasnt aloud to play in the footbal team hence why i hate it.ive got to say though if wales were going into any competition i would def back them one hundred %.i think we should all love each other and enjoy life for what it is,its to short to fight and argue and if anyone wants to come round mine for some loving your more then welcome.and twig you said to me when we were watching the football how much you enjoyed it and when was the next match and were can i buy one of those shirts with them there three lions on.love you
