Anyone know where the Shell Optimax petrol station is on Malpas Road in Newport? Had a look on the shell website and had a look at the map, took a drive up that way on the way to work and couldn't find it anywhere. Went onto Google Earth to have a look at a propper map and it doesn't seem to be on there either. Strange Anyone know where it is.

 

it's right at the bottom of Malpas Road, on the Newport side (going towards town) of the M4.

 

stupid question but happened to notice on the weekend that the wrc are using b.p ultimate so why do we use shell ,bp is cheaper.

Carefull now, that question deserves an answer. She may never ask a question again. Well WRC fuel is about as near to road fuel, as Wales winning the football world cup. (Joke honest) Try a mixture of petrol, tollomine (I think thats how you spell it) and other nice and nasty substances. Its a cocktail of explosive fluid. Its about £16.00 a litre, only supplied through one supplier for every world rally team, supposidly a controlled fuel.
