Default Alittle help please guys

When entering the M4 tonight i gave the scoob a little gas, while the turbo began to spool up the was a hesitation, sounded like the dump valve was sucking in air.

It shoundn't be doing this, right ?

For the last couple of weeks i have said to people it doesnt seem right in sum way,not boosting right .

Is this known a boost leek ? if the D/V is broke.

Cheers
Scud

Standard DV ir aftermarket? Some aftermarket ones need to be adjusted, if the spring pressure is too low it can cause them to stay open as you get back on the gas and cause a momentary loss of power due to the boost being leaked out the DV, u can hear this and this may be your problem, see if you can adjust the dv for more spring pressure.

Cheers guys,i may just swap it back to the standard d/v cos the air filter makes the same sort of noise.

Thx
