Do any "locals" know the current (or projected) situation re: FMD in the Northern part of Wales (Anglesey excepted).

There have been no cases of F+M in North Wales except Anglesey, and since they have started culling on the island no more cases have been found in at least 20 days.
Things are getting better with fewer cases every day and I think it will be much better in a months time.
I believe you are going to the snowdonia area, I'm sure the people of the area will be glad of your custom since it's been very quiet up to now, but look on the bright side, there will be less caravans on the roads

thanks for the info - it is what i thought but the MAFFia cannot always be trusted, so it is always best to check the truth! We will try to head away from any trouble, and i am sure that there will be plenty of beer tokens exchanged at our eventual stopping point.
