Police are feeling a bit flush arn't they.

Mind you. should be quite easy to spot, it'll be the only Scoob driving 'normally'

Why would a calibrated speedo make any difference ? They obviously managed to FPN him without it, presumably using the video equipment ??

I see you're based in Pencoed, where were they spotted, around Bridgend or elsewhere?

(I tend to give ALL my 258+ horses a run every morning on the way to work and back, which is in Bridgend )

yes was bridgend area.dont know exactly whereabouts and as far as i know there was a little bit of baiting involved and quite high(unproven) speeds
im guessing its standard tho cos he was supposed to be pulling away from it when the blues came on.

Surely that is what is called entrapment....... even if your friend had broken the speed limit he must have a case to fight against the points and fine he has recieved.

I had a close brush with the law a few days ago on the A48 near Cowbridge. I was happily driving to work when a Silver Mondeo came screaming up behind me, must've been doing 80mph+ at least. He thought about overtaking me on a two-lane section but obviously didn't feel there was enough room so slammed on the brakes behind me.

As you would expect my intial thoughts were "Mondeo ST", I'm gonna leave him for dust, cheeky ****. However a sixth sense kicked in so I re-checked my rearview mirror and noticed 3 blokes in the car, all wearing white, short sleeved shirts.

As I rounded the next bend I thought about it again so looked one last time and noticed the little black bits on their shoulders so backed off the accelerator. He then went past me on another two lane section and stopped in front of me at the lights outside Bridgend Ford.

Low and behold, a small sticker in the back windscreen proclaiming "Constabulary Pursuit Training Vehicle".

Cheeky coonts. Good job I have a nose for bacon.
