It went up yesterday, not sure when, certainly woke me up this morning. The worrying thing is they expect it to go up again soon, partly due to the US Gulf situation but more likely probably due to the greedy gits using it as an excuse to up the price
Yep I just filled up there to 100.9 .... I'm sure a lot of this is greed with the oil companys also if our govement wanted to they could drop the taxation slightly until the fuel supplies balanced back out in order to keep our market stable.
Greed on two accounts !
Political rant over

Aye there's the rub. People complain about the price of a barrel topping $70 but then don't realise that the price of crude is only about 10% of the cost. 80% goes straight to number 11 and I haven't seen Shell or Esso making a loss this year...
Europe have released 2million barrels a day from their stockpile so prices shouldn't go up, but as always they'll shoot up and crawl down

We need to protest this before it really goes outta hand guys.. I pretty sure the organisers/contacts from the last M4 speed camera protest visit this site and hope they organise something soon.. We only had a few people at the speed camera one and still brought everything to a standstill.. What we need is a hugh well co-ordinated one that will shut down everything with plenty of notice to everyone.. that should make the government take notice...

I heard the figure 8 pence by the end of the week.... I hope that's not true.
Also someone told me they thought Blair had made a comment about adjusting the VAT on it to keep it down as a temp measure... but not sure if that's true either
