can anyone help ??? engine problem !!!!!
first off the car is a my00 2.0 sport <non turbo> with 87K
< oil and plugs changed 3k ago had no problems before>
goins along the motorway got up to 70mph <+30 lol> and in my mirror i had a james bond smoke screen of white/blue smoke
i slowed down and drove on the hard shoulder at 40ish and the smoke cleared so i built my speed back up to 70mph <+a little> and all seams fine, but its worrying me my engines gunna go pop,
also its idleing like a bag of nails
any ideas ????????
oil level spot on
water level spot on
thers oil in the air fillter box < as in oil has blown up and out of the air fillter >
and the pass/side rear piston is knocking like holy buggery
gunna get hold of a compresion tester and see where that takes me

i got a feeling ive droped a piston ring
if thats the case it might be a case of buying an older turbo model and transplanting the eng/ g/box / brakes etc onto my car < keep the year up lol >
