In this months jap performance there is an artical about fuel it says quote shell optimax 98 ron -bp ulitimate 102 ron unquote can this be correct? i have tried both fuels and my car runs much better on optimax.what do others use?

BP Ultimate has an octane rating of 98 - the highest rating of any road fuel available in Australia, so it significantly outperforms Regular Unleaded fuels. Higher octane allows the engine management system of modern cars to perform at their optimal level for better power, performance and economy.
