Hi all.. can anyone please recommend somewhere I can take my wrx for a service around the Swansea area? It's approaching 75k and i'm assuming it needs a big service but not sure when it was serviced last as there are no service docs since from 60k.

Thanks,
Paul

Try DRJ Motors in Carmarthen, only 20 minutes away. [well, 30 from Neath!]
Tel: 01267 221789 - ask for Rhidian (he's comes on Scoobynet)

Pete

Excellent Mike.

Leaving Carms and I had a bit of a horrible feeling that I lost some power but after a little playing I realised it was just as fast as before but a lot smoother.

As with many other people on the forums the final bill came to much less than I was expecting and thanks to Rhidian for that 5% scoobynetters discount. Much appreciated.

I'm looking forward to getting the car back there now. Won't be looking anywhere else, that's for sure.

All I need to do now is get two new tyres for the front and i'm done. Till I start modding in June/July that is

I found Harris Brothers the cheapest locally for tyres (got my Eagle F1s cheaper from them than the best online price I'd seen)

I've been quoted different prices from £88 up to £161 a tyre. Will have to see what my wallet will allow.

Are yours 215/45/17 ZRating? If yes how much did you pick yours up for if you don't mind me asking?

Isn't Harris Brothers a stationers/art shop in Neath?

Oops, only just seen this.

Mine's only on 16" wheels, so tyres are 205/50/16, but yes, they are the ZR rating (don't think they do F1s in anything else)

From memory they were doing them for £82 +VAT each at the time (supplied, fitted and balanced).
I actually went in to get Kumho Ecstas for a lot less dosh, but it was only once all the wheels were off that they realised they only had 3 of them, so they gave me a tenner off each of the F1s.
So worked out at £72+ VAT each, or £338.40.

And as for the stationers in Neath, no idea m8. I tend to avoid Neef
