I had an invite for CVC 12th Nov and one for Mitsubishi 13th Nov and I'm on holiday from the 12th so I cant go on either!

Sorry, already signed my letter over to My uncle and cousin, they almost pissed themselves with excitement.

 

I got number 83.....or around that anyway.

 

It's where CVC open their doors, give you some wine, and Paul McCarthy tries to sell me some more bits for my car.

I nearly bought last year's Rally car..... we'll maybe not £250K is a bit steep.

Is it worth going to the open at CVC? From the letter I've had it doesn't sound that special, have the last few been any good?

Nice food, free wine and good company. Last 2 years Sara Edwards (newsreader) was there doing the raffle. This year it's a well known celeb from Pobol Y Cwm. Chance to sit in a replica rally car and a 360 Modena. You may walk away with a raffle prize but seeing my ticket is number 355 odds are against it. If that dosen't suit you there's always the car park outside

Dont know what CVC stands for but they the Subaru dealer in Cardiff who hold an open night when the NetworkQ rally is on. There were a shed load of Scoobs there last year!

FWIW CVC originally (unless someone knows better) stood for Cardiff Volkswagen Centre. Used to be the mecca for Beetle owners many moons ago...
