You've always got Gareth Grifiths @ Scooby Parts UK in South Wales. He's a bit of a dick and I don't get on with him but he'll be able to do it I would have thought.

Can't really think of any in that area.

They might not be that far away from TDR in Warwick?

A Quick google search has found South Wales Piston Services Limited http://www.southwalespistons.com/ 4.8* on google ratings. Suppose a quick call and asking a vague question like "Subaru EJ Series enginer, what do you know about them?" If they have experience then I'm sure they will happily tell you.

Or as suggested TDR who have a good reputation is only 2hours drive to have it done right

Apparently there is a Subaru specialist in Bristol called Car and Custom Garage. Never heard of them though.

Actually, you've got Advanced Automotive in the Bristol area too. That would be a good shout.

Thanks for the info guys , I know about South Wales Pistons, used them for machining plenty of times over the years for rally engine work , never had them build a complete engine , they have been good what they have done in the past.
He's looking for somewhere to drop the car off , and pick it up fixed , swp don't offer that.
I'll tell him about car and custom garage, and as far as TDR are concerned, they would be my first port of call , as they are fairly close, 2 hours , they fixed my gearbox in my old RA , and I'll be using them in the future , the guy who wants his car fixed though was looking for somewhere a bit closer I think .
I'll pass on the info and leave him decide
Cheers Ian
