Right my latest project is to upgrade the speakers as the standard ones are pants to say the least
I have ordered Infinity component speakers for the front with tweeters and crossovers. For the rear I have got Infinity coaxial speakers along with the speaker adaptors.I have also purchased the speaker adaptor leads to connect to the existing connector block that connects to the back of the original speakers
The rear fitment is straight forward.
My question is when wiring the crossovers for the front speakers do you have to use the speaker wire from the head unit, (this would be the two pairs of wires that are currently going to the back of the original speakers) into the crossover, then from the crossovers out to the component speakers and tweeters.
Aim I right or missing something ? Just need to check as I am doubting myself

If your not using an amplifier then yes that would be the correct way mate.
Your components will sound twice as nice with an external amplifier especially as your using crossovers. Sound deadening the front door skins will make a huge difference too.

Thanks Dubsy
Yes sound dedening is going to be done without doubt, i will fit the speakers and see how it goes with adding an Amp
The full Blitz Nur Spec and mapped pops and bangs will not help with my sound system
but needed to do something about the rubbish standard speakers
