Long time lurker but thought it was time to introduce myself properly.
Picked up my Hawkeye back in March and had pretty much every typical problem it could. I was going to keep it completely standard but then the HG went - a matter of time really, knew it was a probability.
Currently with Dave Coe in Swansea for a couple of mends/upgrades including Cosworth HG, Omega Pistons, Secondary air pump delete, Mongoose decat and some remapping. Once that's all paid off I plan to upgrade around the turbo. Classic case of wishing I'd bought an STI in the first place but I prefer the *slightly* more subtle wrx styling.
Hoping to have her back Monday and to make it to the next local meet, I'm a part time photographer so will be make sure I bring my camera along. Also just joined the South Wales RoADAR group if anyone's a member. I see plenty of you around the Swansea area, always give a wave!
Hi mate and welcome!!!, luck of the draw with these 2.5's by the looks mate but you can mod it to how you want now. Some nice photography going on there to mate.
Finally got my baby back today. All credit to David Coe, the man knows what he's doing! Got the engine run in to do but here's a little video of the Mongoose 3" turbo back (I could only find one or two of these videos and they weren't great)...
