Default Our new J hook discs

Hi
We have been working on a new design grooved disc , called a J hook because of its shape , they offer improved bite and debris clearance over a standard curved groove , and will be quieter in use

Name: 20151030_162338_zps0rz6sanv.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 4.62 MB

As with our standard grooved disc , they come with black painted centres , and our 12 month guarantee even if you do track days

Pricing is as follows.

294mm front discs for Subaru 4 pot calipers £109.99 a pair
266mm vented or solid rear 1993 to 1999 classics £89.99 a pair
290mm rear Type R 190mm handbrake vented discs £145 a pair
290mm 2001 onwards WRX rear vented £109.99 a pair
326mm 2001 onwards STi front vented discs £129.99 a pair
316mm 2001 to 2007 STi rear vented discs £129.99 a pair
316mm 2008 onwards hatch STi rear vented discs £199.99 a pair

They basically work out £10 more than our standard curved groove discs , allowing for the extra machining time.

We are still offering our curved grooved discs for those that prefer the look of them.

We have them available now for next day mainland UK delivery which is £15 , N and S Ireland is £25 , can ship worldwide , please contact us for a quote

We take most major cards over the phone , take paypal , and bank transfers

Cheers Ian

Look great. Will these be available for the 2 piece discs in the future (330mm, 355mm etc.)?

Sorry I misread what you we're asking , no we buy the standard sized discs in , and machine them to our own specs , we use a good blank which is how we can offer our own guarantee's even if you do track days , we don't give out the make of the blanks , we get enough people copying us now what we do , so want to keep the disc make to ourselves.

We do machine our own 2 piece discs and bells

Cheers Ian

How does your J rate over the Original C shape by MTEC ?

Must be more expensive to insert a J over a C as their discs are 20 odd quid cheaper.

Hi
We don't make a 355mm disc to that spec yet , our 355mm discs have a different inside diameter and PCD

Maybe they are using a cheaper blank ! Ask them if they will also give you a 12 month guarantee against warping even if you do track days , not all discs are the same
And they are hardly the original C shape , Alcon have been doing them for years as I have them on my WRC rally car

Ian what's the price for a full set with Kevlar pads for a 2004 Jdm Widetrack Sti. Can I have a price for both original curved groove and the new design, both with anti-squeal shims please.
Thanks Ed

Hi

We offer the new grooves for all discs now , we don't offer a rear disc in 2 piece , one piece J hook discs are available
Those 2 piece discs in the link have steel bells , so I think it's pointless making them in 2 piece
Cheers Ian

Yes because they use a larger disc and a 4 pots caliper , I can see no benefit of fitting a standard sized disc to use with standard calipers , but having a 2 piece discs with a steel bell
