Have these been trialed with a bug prodrive bumper?

Would 8.5 x 18s on ET35 be lost in these arches?

They'd be well lost with them sizes mate, the wheels would probably need to be at least 2" wider with that offset

I thought as much, but that size is too big for standard arches as low as my car is - some more flaring work to be done then and maybe the smaller ABW arches to boot - I do like the bigger arches but the wheels I want don't come any bigger

How low are you running for them wheels to be too wide? Mine is fairly low (it was lower but I couldn't get the front bumper into my street) and my wheels are the same offset but half an inch wider

It's quite low on coilovers and the rears (8x18 ET48 plus 12mm spacers) are tight on the arches so 1/2" wider on essentially the same offset will rub I'm sure

Jon - There will only be 1/4 inch difference between the wheel and arch as the other 1/4 will be towards the suspension. If you're using the same tyres you are now, there will be very little difference as the tyre tread will not move out, just the bead and tyre wall. I think you'll be fine, even at that height.

Zippy - Thanks

ABW - Sorry for clogging up your thread

ABW - ditto.

Kev, I get some rubbing now and the new tyres will be slightly squarer so I will need to do something
