Default Blitz nur spec r - will it fail a noise test?

Hi all,

I was looking to do a trackday in January ( Brans hatch 105dba noise limit )
I am worried that I will pay for the day and get refused entry due to my exhaust volume.

It is a Blitz nur spec r, no centre section, no cats ( that I can see, I bought the car with the exhaust fitted) the bung is fitted.

Does anyone have any experience with getting these exhaust through a noise test... Will it pass?

All as I know is that the exhaust is very loud! Sounds good though!

Cheers
George

Indeed I am sure it does, I must admit it is embarrassing driving it in a multistorey... I could well decide to swap it for something a little quieter.

With the bung in you might be alright. Best bet is to get to your nearest track day circuit and ask them to test your car, before paying out for a track day.

If you have a decat down pipe and decat centre section then even with the bung in, I doubt it would pass

Yes they do sound nice (just fitted one myself) but they can be loud. As someone has said get it down to your nearest track centre or maybe friendly MOT tester station who have the same equipment and save yourself a bundle pre race
