Default Pics From Bedford Autodrome track day

Here are a couple of pictures from today track day, the car performed flawlessly could not have been happier with it, the way it handles was fantastic was keeping up with some of the bigger boys out there, in all it was a very enjoyable day

My Favourite picture

The tyres performed very good aswell, although being a standard road tyre of such the suffer from over heating after about 6 laps the circuit was 4.6 miles long they started to get to hot and make the car abit unpredictable, my R888 managed 10 laps no problem with overheating but i need them to last me awhile so i stuck to the RE070

Enjoy people

Looks like it was a very good day mate. I do like Bedford it is a very nice track with plenty of run off if you get it wrong. I am there on the 9th September with a couple of mates.

What spec is your STI running?

Bedford is usually £10 as a spectator and nothing to go in as a passenger if you have already paid the £10.
ive been up 4 times this year and its been the same.
but it may depend on who is running the track days, I have been when its club gt.

my car is pretty much standard got a nur spec R, cdf rear roll bar, bc coilovers, alk, solid drop links

im there on the 2nd but will be in my clio scoob is getting a rest

how loud is yours then dan? mine was 115 with no bung at 3/4 revs, 95 with it fitted iirc

does it put a nur spec to shame,

i would pay £20 and be able to passenger ride in anybodys cars, everyone is friendly on the day i went out in about 10 cars on the day

its not as loud as a nur spec it was only just over when I had it tested, a resonator will sort it out, it is a 3 inch full decat though

no don't have a bung, it strangles the power anyway, its not nur spec loud just slightly over.

yup not for me im afraid, its mapped to run without a bung and I don't like the idea of running with one.

no idea if it will damage it and im not going to find out either.

oh and get that bloody fake pink badge of the grill it looks shocking

Its a Standard 03 bugeye STI with no mods, and as far as i am aware it has not been tweaked in anyway.

See my garage for pic, its the blue one obviously

Oh sorry 13:40 where i come into shot thats what happens when the tyres overheat, as i said car becomes unpredictable as i really wasnt expecting that to happen, and my line was way off i realised that as the day went on 1st time at bedford so if you dont make mistakes you dont learn
