Pro Street Drag Series 2012 - Shakespeare County Raceway - No Noise Limits
Hi Guys, thought i'd pop this on here to see if we can get more people down on the list.
Round 1 is round the corner and from the list of registered cars, looks to be a good line up:

PRO STREET DRAG SERIES 2012:
This year I will be running in the Pro Street Drag Series again at Shakespeare county raceway. Last year the series struggled to get off the ground due to a lack of cars/drivers competing, and if the same thing happens this year then the series may die!
For this reason I am asking if any of you fancy having a go.
It don't matter if you have a fire breathing 700bhp monster, or a totally standard P1 (or any other Jap car or scooby for that matter), anyone can enter, and everyone has a chance of winning as points are awarded in all classes. So for example if you run in the 14 second class and record the fastest time (for example 14.19s), then you would take the win and get 10 points plus a trophy.
The Dates for the 2012 series are as follows ,with sat being a test day at all rounds except round 1 :
Sat March 31st/Sun April 1st - PSDS Test & Tune (Non points)
Rd 1 Sunday April 22nd - Public Track Day
Rd 2 Sunday June 10th - Public Track Day
Rd 3 Sunday July 22nd - Public Track Day/Ladies That Launch
Rd 4 Sunday Oct 14th - PPC magazine Public Track Day
Rd 5 Oct 28th - Halloween Bonfire Burn-Up Public Track Day
This year there will be cash prizes for the winner in each class. The more people who enter the series, the bigger the cash prize!
If you fancy having a go, then please follow the link, (hope this is ok with the mods), and add your name to the list where you will be given a race number before April, and entry into the series.(You will have to join the forum first). There is no series entry fee, you just turn up on the day, get your car checked over and then sign on and pay as you would if you were going RWYB.

We would like to apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience as we were reluctant to postpone any earlier. We will be rescheduling the weekend’s events and these will be announced shortly. Our next event is on the May bank holiday 5th/7th for the Voltz Energy Shots Springspeed Nationals Drag Racing and following that will be the American Car Yanks Weekend and Public Track Day on May 26th/27th.
