Hi all, thought it might be worth putting up in here to see if we can get some more cars along!

Bath and Bristol Scoobys and Launchmotorsport are attending a track day hosted by Apex on Tuesday 2nd August, looks a good package on offer!

If anyone fancies coming along you are more than welcome, I thought it would be a good opportunity for some other clubs to get together, compare cars and performance and generally get a whole bunch of scoobys together!

 

How much will this be mate and what's the package? Or do you have a link to the advert?

The price for the day is £149, through our website, but I am doing a special rate of £130 through the BBS and a facebook event page. If you book on line it will be £149 or if you do it direct, i.e by cheque or bank transfer it will be £130.

It is an open pit lane event limited to 40 places, as recommended by Castle Combe. We have a 12 car day ( the most for track days) which means no more than 12 cars out at any time. This method works fine with limited numbers like 40 or less.

As with all our other days, passengers and additional drivers are free, so if you are a.mad, b.kind you can let your mate drive your car!

Noise will be 100db static and they are quite strict at Combe.
We have helmets to hire if you need them.

There will also be an ARDS instructor there who will do free instruction. This is on a first come first served basis, you book your slot when you sign on in the morning. There will be free refreshment on arrival, our photographer will be taking pictures to sell, and we are also doing a professionally produced film of the day.

At the moment we have 2 R35,s booked on...one with 600bhp so will be nice to see them go round. One I know is a fairly handy peddler as well.

Getting a good few Subarus booked on this now. We are limiting numbers to 40 and I think it will be booked up within the next week or so.

16 Subarus so far and 2 GTR's. Looking like it will be a good day.

We are also having a professional video done of the day which will be posted on Youtube. Jonny Jones will be doing it for us as well as some of our other events this year. We will ask participants if they will do a session with the cameras attached to get some good footage. If the day is popular, we will do another Jap event at another circuit before the end of the summer.

Book now whilst we have spaces left. We will not book more than 40 to prevent excessive queues.

18 Subarus now! We have approached a number of tuners to bring vehicles down so this could get booked up quickly now. We are limiting the attendees to 40. However, if you have no intention of driving, as passengers are free,it is still worth coming down as somebody is bound to take you out for a few laps.

I might pop up for the day. Car not really ready for a whole day tracking. Hav'nt had a swirl pot fitted yet so I don't want to keep going to Chippenham for fuel like I did at Japfest

 

Really good day yesterday at Combe, Apex put on a great day that ran very smoothly

Lots of scoobs there that from BBS, if anyone from here was there please make yourselves known, be good to put faces to names etc
