This is our 8th annual Spring Blast pilgrimage to the excellent, fast, and challenging Castle Combe race circuit in rural Wiltshire.

Held on Friday 16th April, so it is perfect to bring the missus and/or kids and treat them to a weekend away in the beautiful local countryside or go to nearby Bath.

Always a great mix of machinery to play with on this day, and fun had by all in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. :thumbup:


12 cars on track in 15minute sessions with open Pitlane.

Noise 100db static.

Anyone explain the format a bit for me please.

Website says open pit in 15 minute sessions? Does this mean your not tied to a specific group etc each hour?

Also static noise test of 100DB -> presuming this is at 4500RPM as standard at combe?

Format is open sessions, to mix up drivers and cars and make for a more relaxed day.

With a maximum number of cars restriction you will get ample track time

Your assessment of static test is correct

I'm paid up to go - this will be my 3rd time at Combe and would be a great shame to see it cancelled.

I will be away skiing sadly when this event, Hugh will be running the day in my absence
